Preparing for my exchange

So this is the blog I will be keeping while I am in Kawachinagano, Osaka, Japan. I'm not exactly sure what to say right now so I will just talk about some of my feelings that I have towards the trip right now. At the moment, I have almost 2 months before I get on the plane for Japan. It seems like a long ways away, but on June 21 I will be going to Camp Widjiwagan in Ely for a 52 day arctic canoe trip. I will return on August 7 and prepare to leave for Japan between August 15th and August 20th. Yup. That's only about a week at the minimum. I'm worried about that because that means I only have three full weeks left in Northfield before I leave the country for a year. That's frightening but at the same time refreshing. It means a new start to everything. New friends, new family, a new language. Yikes! Well, we will just have to see where this takes me. At the moment I have no idea except that I know that I will change and I am ready for that to happen. See  you in Japan!
